Abstract
Does having a higher level of tobacco control awareness lead to increased political activism? This study will demonstrate that membership in the Alameda County Tobacco Control Coalition does lead to increased political activism among its members. This study describes the methodology of the research, findings and also includes policy recommendations for strengthening the activities of the Coalition.
