Abstract
This dissertation builds on international legislation, concentrating particularly on international agreements such as TRIPS, WTO and WIPO publications. It also covers the preparation documents of these international agreements, judicial decisions, commentaries, academic books and articles, international conference papers, and the statistics and reports of developing countries in comparing clean energy transfer policies before and after TRIPS. Key sources also include law magazines, newspapers and reports that show the developing countries' technological and environmental improvements. To collect data for my research, I worked at WIPO's Geneva-based database project. I utilized WIPO's, WTO's and developing countries' libraries to secure statistical data and articles and also followed a number of key international conferences on international intellectual property and climate change.
