Professor Michael van Walt van Praag

Professor van Walt van Praag is a visiting Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study at the School of Historical Studies in Princeton, NJ; Executive President of Kreddha, an international non-governmental organization which he founded in 1999 for the prevention and resolution of violent intra-state conflicts; and an international lawyer specializing in intra-state conflict resolution. He previously served as advisor and consultant to numerous governmental and non-governmental organizations in peace talks in regions ranging from Chechnya toPapua New Guinea. Professor van Walt van Praag has held visiting teaching and research positions at Stanford, UCLA, Indiana, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Golden Gate University School of Law.
